Digital Signatures for Alfresco Share addon by Zylk provides an action for signing PDF files via java applet (CryptoApplet). The applet allows to use a local software certificate or cryptographic hardware in the signature process, and it introduces a visible signature in the PDF, that is viewed in the document preview. The action is enabled in action menus for PDF files, being also possible to sign several selected PDFs in the document library view at once.
