OBJECT's Metadata Extractor enables Alfresco to extract user specified metadata out of Word-documents through Alfresco’s “PoiMetadataExtracterâ€. The module consists of a Java class which extracts all properties of an uploaded document and allocates them to the corresponding Alfresco property by use of a mapping file.
