Allow users to save queries/search parameters in Share

Our Share users currently have a static large list of parameters that they need to manually re-input everytime documents needs to be searched.

Is there any way of users individually saving and loading search/queries in Alfresco share?

Hi @mathewsmotta,

There are Smart Folders, but I don't think they will allow individuals to do as you want? Also Smart Folder have limitations. This thread has some info on usage.

Yeah indeed we've looked into Smart Folders, but they are limited for what we need.

Basically, we have a set of properties from a custom content model and we do some custom search queries using those

Is there perhaps an extension we can make for this?

Hm, there's no option out of the box, but you can develop your own module. You could take this  as your starting point https://github.com/zylklab/zk-dynamic-searches-dashlet.

Hi,

There is a dashlet calles Saved Search.You can try that and you can modify or create replica of same dashlet with your customization.
