Custom Content Location - any other users specifying their own content location using >version 5.2?

Hi Alfresco Community!  

We have a large installation of Alfresco, 2billion nodes, adding around 250k new nodes daily.  From initial installation, we have had a custom amp which allows specifying the content location, and we use a hitachi object based storage to store all of the content.

We are currently using alfresco 5.2 and are working on upgrading to a later version.  

Is there anyone out there who is using a later version, and specifying their own content locations?  Just looking to connect and share hurdles

That is quite common and there should be many users with custom content locations. Not sure why no one has replied yet. Since I have various customers with individual requirements for custom content locations, I have even developed an extension for more flexible content storage configuration: https://github.com/Acosix/alfresco-simple-content-stores/
