Enable target repository in editable form

Hi Team,

I am able to set up replication job and its working as expected.

Need some help on below topics:

1. How to enable target repository in editable mode?

2. Does replication job also replicate users and groups on document library and site members in site also?

3. In case of source node failure, what are the changes required to be done in Target repository?

Target repository is read-only and the job replicates every required resource.

If some replication job fails, you can re-try the synchronization using the Web Console.

Agree on target repository will be read only during replication job is working.

In case source repository failure, then there is no use of target repository?

In enterprise edition, there is an option to uncheck "replication target is read only", but in community edition, I can't find that option.

I want to know if I stop replication job, does target repository can be in editable mode? If yes, what are the changes are required?

AFAIK Target repository is only allowed to work in read only mode.

Is there any mechanism for community edition through which we can achieve minimum outage of the system?e.g. Active, passive node or any alternatives?
