escalations task to managers of that user

Hi  ,

I want to escalate the task to manager of that user.Here in alfresco we need to map users & there managers in data-list is mandatory.OR we can also get this from database.

Also, I am not sure where you need specific support. Do you have any problems implementing that requirement, or are you looking to understand some technical concept better so you can implement it?

Your requirement sounds straight-forward. If you map users and managers in a datalist, you simply need to have a task listener lookup the relation and assign the escalation task accordingly. Same with the DB based lookup, only that you'd need to include a custom SQL call to a separate DB.

Actually tested using datalist before it self but if I had more users in

then its not good to map in datalist that's why I am asking is datalist is

only way I am not knowing that we can map that through the database

also.Now I will try mapping users in databse.
