How can we force the user to choose a document type when uploading a file?

Hi,

I would like to somehow force the user to choose the document type when he adds a file to a certain folder.

I can create a rule that will set the type to one specific type but this is not OK as I would like to have different types of documents in the same folder.

Would it be possible to open a form that will ask the user to choose the type when he uploads the document? Or to start a workflow that will ask to determine the type of the document?

Thank you very much. It is exactly what I need. We can't do much but it displays a form which lets you choose a file type (within the types that you selected while configuring the folder on which you want this to happen) and fulfill the meta data and other properties of the file.
