How to create metadata on file when drop file into document library

Hi,

i need to create metadata when drag and drop file into  document library. how can i do it ?

hint:

i have debugged upload.post.js and see upload related function. but i couldn't get property value that i sent from share

How are you sending metadata from Share during upload (this is not a standard feature)?

Have you seen that there is an addon in the community that can be used to set metadata during upload? It is called Uploader Plus

i have used following line of _BaseUploadService.js to send data into upload.post.js (actually this source is provided by alfresco)

// Open and send the request
         if (url)
         {
            fileInfo.request.open("POST", url, true);
            fileInfo.request.send(formData);
         }

i haven't seen this addon
