How to get list of files getting uploaded in share

Hi,

I am trying to add custom properties to the uploaded file and i have a custom web-script that can update the file properties once files are uploaded. In order to call that webscript on "upload" button in share, i need to know all the files that are getting uploaded.

Is there a way i can get the list of files getting uploaded ?

If i can get this information before the upload starts OR after the upload is successful, that will be useful.

I am using alfresco 4.2.c

Do you know there is already an addon that allows adding metadata during upload of files? There should be no need to implement the same functionality again yourself if you don't have crazy, different requirements. Check out the Uploader Plus addon first before investing too much time.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunetely that add-on does not work with alfresco 4.2.c which is the one i am using.

Is there any special reason to you to use an old version like that?

You should at least consider upgrading it to the latest version for 4.2 brach, that is 4.2.f
