Is there a logging level that would allow me to see API Request/Response timing.

I have a client applciation that makes request to Alfresco uisng the Alfresco API.

There are several network devices between the client and Alfresco (ex. Firewall, load balancer, etc..)

I am tryting to get the duration time of an API call in order to see if the problem is with Alfresco

or if I can eliminate Alfresco as the cause of the slowness issue.

You can try to add environment variables to start tomcat:

-Dcom.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.dump=true -Dcom.sun.xml.internal.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.dump=true -Dcom.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.HttpAdapter.dump=true -Dcom.sun.xml.internal.ws.transport.http.HttpAdapter.dump=true

Or simply set up the Tomcat access log valve to include the request handling duration via the %D/%F
