Make API about list not uploaded in Alfresco

Hi,

i have a project that has a scope of making list of files that is not uploaded in alfresco. Were using 5.1, and we want to link our database server that we used here in the company to the alfresco to compare the lists if it's available. Is there a way of doing it ?

you need a "shared id" to check the files. If the filename is unique enough, you can use that. Write a WebScript (see alfresco docu) to upload and check your filelist.

Sorry for that, Im just new here in alfresco and yet Im a little bit confused about this .
