Migrating from ACS 7.0 to 7.3: I Cant Comment, Favorite, Like, or Upload anything

Hoping this is a switch I can flip here.   Due to thumbnails not updating behavior on my non-clustered community 7.0 ansible build I decided to try migrating my content store and db over to ACS7.3.

The good news is the thumbnails work (better), but the bad news is I can't do anything on the site

A POP-UP with the following error shows every time I:

Submit a Comment = Unable to save comment
Click Favorite or Like = Your changes could not be saved.
 
 

The Bad part here is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING shows up in alfresco.log or catalina.out when this happens.  :-/ 
So I dont know where to focus my energy here.

Any Thoughts?

Never mind, I was looking in the wrong logs.   This is a solr6 issue.  This ansible role sets alfresco.secureComms=secret 
I had alfresco.secureComms=none in my config
