Not able to check the file type before uploading

Is there any option where I can validate the file content type of the document before uploading it through alfresco community edition 6.2.0.

Other wise the user can manipulate the request and can upload any other bat, exe files through the system.

There technically can never be a way of validating the file type BEFORE an upload. Any data provided that you could check before the upload could be faked, and only once the file has already been uploaded do you have the final / effective file that you could validate and be sure will not be faked / tricked by the client afterwards.

As @afaust suggest you: it's impossible before to upload an item.

The only think that's come to my mind is this blog post from @angelborroy. But, first: i'm not sure if that addon is working  for latest Alfresco's versions. And second: this happens as soon as the user is uploading some content in share.
