Hello everyone,
I am using Alfresco Community for the development of an application. But now, I have some issues with the installation of the alfresco-search services.
I follow the instructions listed on the documentation, but when I started the server, I got this error :
2020-07-16 23:42:29.901 ERROR (main) [ ] o.a.s.s.SolrDispatchFilter Could not start Solr. Check solr/home property and the logs
2020-07-16 23:42:29.917 ERROR (main) [ ] o.a.s.c.SolrCore null:java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: org/alfresco/error/AlfrescoRuntimeException has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 55.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 52.0
I am using jre_1.8.0.251. It seems that Alfresco jar is not comptatible with jre_1.8.0.201..
How can I solve this so that I can continue my work? Please help me

Hi:
If you refer you are using Alfresco Search Services 1.4.x (with Alfresco 6.2 201911GA for example), you surely need to use OpenJDK 11.0.7.

Kind regards.
