Storage areas

Hello @ll,

I'm new to Alfresco and was wondering what determines where a given piece of contentent is written?

• Is there a default where everything is initialy placed?
• Can a default storage location be determined based on the content type?
• Are there policies (time, age, size, attribute value, file format) can be placed on content been stored?

I have need around DR where some files need to have a different BU plan than others. File volumes are in the TB range so I'd have to come up with something meaningfull.
