Email Service ??

Hi,

We have a requirement to send ad-hoc emails irrespective of Process Tasks. 

What Email Service do we use to perform mail action ?

I'm not sure I understand the question but you can see the email send code that the engine uses here - Activiti/MailActivityBehavior.java at 6.x · Activiti/Activiti · GitHub

You can use Email services like gmail,yahoo,zimbra etc.

To configure Outbound email please refer these documentations
