Previsualización en Alfresco

A ver, me he instalado Alfresco Community 4.0 en mi servidor. El tema es que encuentro una diferencia importante entre la demo online de Alfresco y la que yo me he instalado. A la hora de previsualizar en mi instalación no tengo la barra de previsualización para pasar página y hacer zoom.
Una imagen vale más que mil palabras:

Informar de que mi instalación tiene imagemagick y swftools, pero en lugar de Open Office tengo Libre Office ¿puede ser eso?

Pues quizas pueda ser un motivo, de todas formas puedes revisar alfresco.log para ver si te escupe algun error?

Tiene toda la pinta de ser temas de renderización. Como comenta 666, deberías enseñarnos el log de alfresco. Para ello: Para alfresco, elimina el Alfresco.log que tengas creado en tu local, arranca de nuevo y vete a cualquier archivo que se visualice mal y nos pegas aquí en el post entre las etiquetas 
 y ‍
el contenido del mismo.

Así podremos visualizar si hay algún problema en el arranque.

Ahora mismo no estoy en la oficina, el Lunes pego el log.

Según tengo entendido, esa conversión, tratándose de un pdf (que es con lo que estoy probando) simplemente pasa por el swftools, quien lo convierte en flash ¿no es así?

¿quién es el encargado de "dibujar" esa barra de herramientas para pasar páginas y hacer zoom sobre el flash? ¿está incorporada en la propia interfaz de share o forma parte del mismo flash que genera swftools?

swftools, ¿tiene opciones para generar el flash con mayor o menor dimensiones o algo así? ¿dónde se colocarían estas opciones?

Vale, examinando el log veo que Alfresco busca el pdf2swf en el directorio /usr/bin y no lo encuentra (porque no está ahí, aunque esté en el path), así que lo copio desde /usr/local/bin a /usr/bin y ahora ya me sale la previsualización en flash con su barra y todo, quizás un poco falto de nitidez, como con baja calidad pero bien.

Ahora sólo me falta corregir los errores de CFIS y FTP, que al parecer está relacionados con algo llamado JLAN. ¿alguna idea? Investigaré a ver.

Justo eso.

Si te fijas en el log pone esto:

Mira a ver en tu alfresco-global.properties (dentro de tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco) y asegurate de que la nía que referencia al pdf2swf,ese path existe en tu windows. Muchas veces el problema está en que Alfresco con la instalación básica pone rutas absolutas tales como Alfres~ o similar.Prueba a meterle la ruta completa y arranca de nuevo a ver si ya te lo coge.

Otro problema que he visto es este:

Mira en el alfresco-global.properties a ver a donde apunta. Por ejemplo yo lo tengo puesto en C:/Alfresco/alf_data , mira la ruta y comprueba que está bien escrita  :wink:

Otro error que veo es:

org.alfresco.jlan.server.config.InvalidConfigurationException: Error initializing TCP-IP SMB session handler, Permission denied‍‍

Comprueba que el usuario con el que inicias alfresco tiene permisos en el sistema. Prueba con root a ver si salta este error y sino, ya sabemos que es por eso.

Muchísimas gracias por tanta información Cristina.

Efectivamente el tema de las previsualizaciones ya está solucionado. Simplemente he copiado el ejecutable de pdf2swf a la carpeta donde lo buscaba alfresco.
# cp /usr/local/bin/pdf2swf /usr/bin ‍

El SMTP es normal que falle, pues aún no me he metido a configurarlo. Por cierto ¿se podría configurar con una cuenta de gmail?

En cuanto a con qué usuario se ejecuta Alfresco… no lo sé, supongo que con el usuario tomcat6. ¿cómo o dónde lo miro?

En cuanto al warning sobre dónde quiero que alfresco guarde los datos, ya lo he cambiado (en alfresco-global.properties) para que guarde los datos en /srv/www/alfresco/alf_data y he movido los datos que tenía hasta el momento ha esa carpeta.

Lo dicho, mil gracias Cristina

PD: Los pasos que he seguido para instalar Alfresco han sido estos http://tomascrespo.sofiytommy.com/content/instalar-alfreso-community-en-un-ubuntu-server-1110-x86-32..., pues no existe instalador para Linux x86.

¿No te sirve el de 64bits normal?  :roll:

Para configurar el SMTP sigue estos pasos. Este post esde los mejorcitos que hay para aprender a configurarlo.

Cuando te comento lo del usuario, la pregunta va para cuando arrancas alfresco con el ./alfresco.sh start ¿desde qué usuario lo haces? ¿te logas como root? ¿o cómo?
