Hello,
i find something which may be a bug for Alfresco.

i deploy this :
AlfrescoCommunity-1.4-Linux-x86-Install

What happen ?
1. With a user "mng01" i login and create a space, with a name "Technical Files". then logout.

2. I login as "eng01". And as expected i see "Technical Files" there. Because by default Technical Files available for everyone.

3. What i do is : Go to Technical Files

4. Click Manage Space Users

5. Un-tick "Inherit Parent Space Permissions"

6. I get this error (although actually it works"

javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: Cannot get value for expression '#{SpaceUsersBean.owner != null}'
caused by:
javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: org.alfresco.web.bean.users.SpaceUsersBean
caused by:
javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: Bean: org.alfresco.web.bean.users.SpaceUsersBean, property: owner
caused by:
java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
caused by:
org.alfresco.repo.security.permissions.AccessDeniedException: Access Denied. You do not have the appropriate permissions to perform this operation.
caused by:
net.sf.acegisecurity.AccessDeniedException: Access is denied.

7. Although there is error : but yes, actually it is now only available for the creator of the Space, i.e "mng01"
