MacOsX: Can't run ffmpeg through the ContentTransformer

Question asked by mir4ge on Mar 31, 2008
I installed ffmpeg on Mac OS X, in the opt/alfresco/bin directory,
then I modified the path in both bashrc and profile files…

However, when I try to perform a transformation, I receive a message that says that no transformer is installed…
The alfresco.log says:

I edited the alfresco.sh as well (thinking it could somehow override the path?) to read this:

#!/bin/sh
# Start or stop Alfresco server
# Set the following to where Tomcat is installed
APPSERVER=/opt/alfresco/tomcat
# Set any default JVM values
export JAVA_OPTS='-Xms128m -Xmx512m -server'
# Following only needed for Sun JVMs before to 1.5 update 8
#JAVA_OPTS="${JAVA_OPTS} -XX:CompileCommand=exclude,org/apache/lucene/index/IndexReader\$1,doBody -XX:CompileCommand=exclude,org/alfresco/repo/search/impl/lucene/index/IndexInfo\$Merger,mergeIndexes -XX:CompileCommand=exclude,org/alfresco/repo/search/impl/lucene/index/IndexInfo\$Merger,mergeDeletions"
JAVA_OPTS="${JAVA_OPTS} -Djava.rmi.server.hostname=myhostname.mydomainname.net"
export JAVA_OPTS
############ALBX############path mod##########################
export PATH="$PATH:/Users/mir4ggio/Desktop/ffmpeg/:/opt/alfresco/bin/"
#########################END of ALBX ##################################
if [ "$1" = "start" ]; then
  "$APPSERVER"/bin/startup.sh
#  if [ -r ./virtual_start.sh ]; then
#    sh ./virtual_start.sh

#  if [ -r ./start_oo.sh ]; then

elif [ "$1" = "stop" ]; then
  "$APPSERVER"/bin/shutdown.sh

#    sh ./virtual_stop.sh
#  fi
#  if [ -r ./start_oo.sh ]; then
#    killall soffice.bin

Any suggestions on what's going wrong??
