Hi All.

I'm trying to install Alfresco 2.1 community ver on Ubuntu 7.10 server 32bit.

I've installed and tested mysql and verified that the "alfresco" data's are there.  And that mysql is running.
I've installed and setup the environment path for Java

netserv@alfresco:~$ echo $JAVA_HOME
/home/netserv/jdk1.5.0_15/bin/

I've edited the alfresco.sh file to make sure that it points to /opt/alfersco/tomcat  (It does).

The problem I'm having is that when I go to /opt/alfresco and type ./alfresco.sh

nothing happens.  it just goes back to a blinking cursor.   Am I missing something?   I've been reading the forums, but can't find anything that looks like it would help at this point.

TIA
Louis
