How do I make work CIFS within LAN ...?

Question asked by g_rathod on May 16, 2008
Hey Friends,

Actually I could not able to connect with LAN through CIFS.
My Server is running on and when I tried to access my alfresco or when trying to map the drive its not working.

my CIFS : \\my-pca\Alfresco\TEST   it successfully loads or maps the drive.

but when I tried to map through network pc which are in same LAN through following its not working at all.

Or when I am trying to access CIFS through Mozilla browser like as shown in following screen :

its not working.. is it Mozilla's bug or  ???

another thing is when I am disconnect mapped network drive and trying to connect throgh locally through IE, it is still not connected to CIFS.
we need to atleast map first through windows explorer.

Can any one let me know first of all I want to solve that LAN problem ?
my file-servers.xml is like as below

<alfresco-config area="file-servers">

   <config evaluator="string-compare" condition="CIFS Server">
     <serverEnable enabled="true"/>
      <host name="${localname}A" domain="WORKGROUP"/>
