Several problems with setting up a development environment.

Question asked by gamerguy on Mar 2, 2007
I've retrieved the newest HEAD revision and it seems that certain files are missing, like those in the "3rd-party" folder(or are they missing? For one, I couldn't open the "3rd-party" project and some other projects in Eclipse).
I'm also unable to build the project that I've downloaded with Ant, so I'd be really glad if anyone can help me with this. It gives me a "BUILD FAILED" message with :
C:\Alfresco SVN\root\common\build.xml:61: The following error occurred while executing this line:
C:\Alfresco SVN\root\common\common.xml:24: Compile failed; see the compiler error output for details.

Thus, I was wondering if retrieving an older version of Alfresco in the alfresco subversion repository would help.  If not, what would solve the problem?

By the way, the URL that I used to check out the repository was http://svn.alfresco.com/repos/alfresco-open-mirror/alfresco/HEAD/ ; the other one "svn://svn.alfresco.com/alfresco/HEAD" doesn't seem to work.

Thanks for reading.
