Kerberos/AD integration

Question asked by cedomir on Jun 6, 2008
Hi,

I will appreciate any help regarding problem with integrating Alfresco with Active Directory. Using wiki guide “Configuring the CIFS and web servers for Kerberos/AD integration” I completed first tree steps, but I can't pass the step four. After executing:

ktpass /princ cifs/alfresco.alfresco.local@ALFRESCO.LOCAL /pass blahblah /mapuser alfresco\alfrescocifs -crypto DES-CBC-MD5 -ptype KRB5_NT_PRINCIPAL -mapop set +desonly /out c:\temp\alfrescocifs.keytab

I get:

Targeting domain controller: dc.alfresco.local
Using legacy password setting method
Successfully mapped cifs/alfresco.alfresco.local to alfrescocifs.
Aborted.

I've tried a lot of things, like changing the command parameters (with or without domain etc.), and also tried with different types of ktpass tool and service packs.

Alfresco server: Ubuntu 7
Domain controller: W2003 server sp2

Any idea? Thanks in advance.
