Creating custom content with web service

Question asked by orichaud on Mar 9, 2007
Hi all,

I'm trying to create a custom model using the web service API.

I defined my model inside the customModel.xml. I can see on the console that the custom model is being loaded. By the way, how can I trace the types  I have added on the console? Which logger shoudl I consider?

When I run my web service client, I get the following error :

AxisFault
faultCode: {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Server.generalException
faultSubcode:
faultString:
faultActor:
faultNode:
faultDetail:

   {http://xml.apache.org/axis/}stackTrace:

   at org.apache.axis.providers.java.RPCProvider.processMessage(RPCProvider.java:186)
   at org.apache.axis.providers.java.JavaProvider.invoke(JavaProvider.java:323)

This arises when I call the update method of the repository service.

I have checked that my namespace is ccorect according to my configuration file.

Thanks for your help.

Olivier.
