Incoming Email Error

Question asked by alwick on Jun 17, 2008
I am evaluating the enterprise version of Alfresco running on a Redhat Fedora install.  I am trying to get the inbound email server working by sending an email on the command line using the "mail" command.

I have sendmail turned off on the machine and Alfresco comes up with my email configuration and no errors.  I can telnet to port 25 and I get the helo prompt.

I have a workspace that has the email alias of "foo" set on it ( I have also tried using the ID of the workspace as well ).  There is a user with the correct email sender email address associated with it and that user has access to the workspace via the Everyone group.

This is the command and output from the command:

[rome@foqa2 emailserver]$ mail -v -s Test foo@starkinvestments.com
Test….

250 Ok
>>> STARTTLS

foo@starkinvestments.com… Deferred: 403 4.7.0 TLS handshake.

Any help would be appreciated.
