jboss, fedora, and share

Question asked by richmitc on Aug 19, 2008
I'm just posting this in case it is helpful to someone else….

I was working to get share working under jboss on fedora.  In addition, to doing all the wiki noted jboss things i.e.

   <context-param>
      <param-name>org.jboss.jbossfaces.WAR_BUNDLES_JSF_IMPL</param-name>
      <param-value>true</param-value>
   </context-param>

in share.war/WEB-INF/web.xml

I found I needed to do

-Dorg.apache.catalina.STRICT_SERVLET_COMPLIANCE=false

as a JAVA_OPT in bin/run.sh as noted in this post

http://lists.jboss.org/pipermail/jboss-jira/2007-October/034053.html

As I said, I hope that helps.
