flush/commit update commands

Question asked by tim-erwin on Sep 29, 2008
Hi everybody,

it seems alfresco is caching update commands for performance' sake or something. How I noticed was by these steps:

  1. Take an item from SpacesStore and copy it somewhere.
  2. Modify the source property (copiedfrom aspect) <- the update command
  3. Create a version of that modified copy.
The versioned source property is not - as expected - equal to the current but to the former (original) one; although I changed it BEFORE creating the version. A workaround would be to also modify the version, but that's awkward. It seems internally the order of the commands (modify, create version) has been changed.

Any idea how to make this right?

Thanks,
Tim
