Creating property that is based on another custom type

Question asked by jaglb on Mar 3, 2009
Hello everybody,
I'm currently creating a custom content model that needs the following structure:

    <type name="p:Car">
      <title>Car</title>
      <parent>cm:content</parent>

      <properties>
        <property name="p:color">
          <title>Color</title>
          <description>The color.</description>
          <type>d:text</type>
          <mandatory>true</mandatory>
        </property>
        <property name="p:wheel">
          <title>Wheel</title>
          <description>The Wheel.</description>
          <type>p:weel</type>
          <mandatory>true</mandatory>
          <multiple>true</multiple>
        </property>
     </properties>
   </type>

    <type name="p:Wheel">
      <title>Wheel</title>

      <properties>
        <property name="p:wheelColor">
          <title>Wheel Color</title>
          <description>The wheel color.</description>
          <type>d:text</type>
          <mandatory>true</mandatory>
        </property>
        <property name="p:wheelSize">
          <title>Wheel Size</title>
          <description>The Wheel size.</description>
          <type>d:text</type>
          <mandatory>true</mandatory>
          <multiple>true</multiple>
        </property>
     </properties>
   </type>

The whole idea is to be able to add a collection of a subset of properties inside one content type and to be able to fill
them in just one form, the same way you can when working with WebForms but just using the WebClient Extensions.

It's possible ?
