Setting IIS6 to handle Alfresco's requests

Question asked by luaspassenger on Mar 29, 2009

I have been trying to set up IIS6 to handle Alfresco's request by using Tomcat's isapi redirector. I followed lots of articles online on how to do this but I have not being successful in making IIS load the isapi_redirector.dll filter: Under the ISAPI Filters tab the tomcat filter appears with a red arrow.

I have read lots of articles, how-to's, etc. on how to setup IIS to call Tomcat via the isapi redirector. I have checked, double-checked, and triple-checked my configuration and there's nothing wrong. So I'm starting to think that there must be something weird in the Tomcat server shipped with Alfresco 3. I installed the full Alfresco 3 distribution.

Has anybody been able to successfully set up this distribution with IIS 6?

I'm using Windows Server 2003 64 bit, but I have set IIS to run in 32-bit emulation mode (as this is required by an application). I have tried using the JK connector for 32 and 64 bits but neither seems to work.

Any help will be appreciated.
