CIFS problem

Question asked by cedomir on Jan 31, 2008
Hi,

I installed Alfresco 2.9C on Ubuntu 7.10. Everything works fine from WebClient but when I start browsing folders on (CIFS) mapped network drive with explorer, Alfresco hangs after a coupe of seconds and neither explorer nor WebClient are functional any more (until I reboot). Network has no win server, no domain, just plain Workgroup network.

I tried a lot of combinations in file-server.xlm but no result. One more thing, I can't see alfresco server from network neighborhood, but I can (for few seconds) access it by typing address in explorer or by mapped network drive.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks, cedomir
