Implementing a servlet that supports multiple logins

Question asked by ctarr247 on Feb 27, 2008
I am trying to build a website using a servlet service supporting user logins accessing content in an Alfresco repository.  However, I'm confused how to implement multiple logins.  Through my research of the topic, use of JcrTemplate with SessionFactory bean appears to be the best way to create a servlet that handles multiple sessions (each with their own thread).  Unfortunately, it hard-codes the user and password for the SessionFactory in all examples   (http://www.infoq.com/articles/spring-modules-jcr).  How would I go about supporting sessions each with their own credentials?  I want to be able to support sessions that last over multiple requests, so that they can login once and use a ticket to access the session.

Can someone please give me guidance about best practices for this type of application?

Best,

Chris
