Alfresco Web Client Portlet Authentication

Question asked by mliedtke on Feb 27, 2008
Hi All,
Yet another one of those Pesky Alfresco/Liferay/Portlet questions.

I'm in the process of setting up a liferay 4.4 portal integrated with alfresco 2.1, and am having some issues with the Alfresco Client Portlet.  As far as I can tell it is not picking up the portal user the way the Web Script portlets are (see this thread for some background on the web script auth http://forums.alfresco.com/viewtopic.php?p=37363#37363).

The first time I hit the portlet, it logs me in as the guest user, then when I authenticate as my self, and then go back to this page it prompts me with the login page, and does not pick up my authentication.  So what i'd like to do is set a seperate authenticator in the portlet.xml in a way similar to what you do for the web script portlets.  Is this possible, and if so, how do I do this?

Thanks,
Mark
