Security o attribute basis

Question asked by john84 on May 15, 2009
Hello together,
i am a newbe on alfresco. After trying a couple of weeks to work on it, creating models, actions,… I got really intresting doing more on it. But now I came to a problem for which I couldn't find any answer.

Is it possible to manage sercurity on attribute level? For example there is a whitepaper wich gets published on the web, my type "my:whitepaper" hat three descriptionfields. One is public it can Modified by any authenticated user but not by guests. The second is private by the Marketing role but nobody else should see it. The third is a private Discription for the management.

Can I confiure this, or is there a way to meet this behavior inside Alfresco without touching the core source?

Thanks a lot in advance.
