CIFS with automatic versioning: Makes 3 versions on new file

Question asked by aspen on Jul 27, 2009
I'm running Alfresco 3.2 on Ubuntu.

I enabled automatic versioning for everything per: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Versioning_Behaviour

However, every time I add a new file to my site's document directory, it starts at version 1.3. It creates several versions just for the heck of it!

I think this might be related to: https://issues.alfresco.com/jira/browse/ETHREEOH-2559
However that only mentions using cp in the shell to do it.(I assume explorer.exe handles file copies itself?)

Anyone?
Thanks!
