LDAP Synchronization Occurs Before New User Creation

Question asked by achuinard on Dec 23, 2009
It seems like Alfresco is doing a sync of LDAP changes before it actually adds a new user to the system. For example, I have my AD structure, which has a group called 'Test Group'. If I delete a user from Alfresco (just for testing), add them to Test Group in AD, then login with their credentials which check against ActiveDirectory, it seems like it will try to add this non-existent user to my Alfresco Test Group before it actually creates them in the system. Does this make sense?

Additionally, when a new user is sync'd, it doesn't actually import their details since the differential sync doesn't see the details as having changed.

Thanks.
