that is linked to from the
spring surf incubator page
there is reference to alfresco 3.3 snapshot jars Does anyone know where these are or how to find them?

That documentation will need to be updated since those libraries no longer exist.
I presume you get the surf libraries from somewhere on the downloads page from Spring Source.
On Alfresco's HEAD (what will be 3.3) there is also a copy of the surf libraries in Alfresco's third party projects, like any other external library.
