Accessing Site RSS Feed links

Question asked by cszamudio on Jan 21, 2010
I've run into a problem with accessing the contents of an RSS Feed generated for a Site.  I can successfully create the feed and access the feed entries via my feed reader (making sure that the Site has Guest access), however the feed entries themselves contain URL links that refer to "localhost" rather then the explicit server ip address.  This means that the links in the RSS feed reader never resolve to the Alfresco host, but rather try to resolve on the local computer that runs the Browser. Consequently the links don't work as expected.  I've attached an RSS feed XML below.

I've not been able to find where the RSS feed creator is extracting the "localhost" parameter where instead I could specify the server IP address. The only place in the installation where I noted a reference to localhost was in the MySQL setup in the Alfresco global properties, but this seems unrelated.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
