WebDAV and Linux Issue

Unable to connect using WebDAV.

Hopefully this is an easy solution.  I have had no issues with windows desktops in our company but a few of us use linux and would like to be able to use webdav.  Since I am migrating us from sharepoint, this sure would speed things up for me.

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and select Connect to Server.  Select WebDAV (HTTP) and enter our internal IP.  192.168.1.63 and port 8080.  The folder is alfresco/webdav.  If I put the user name in at this point, I get an HTTP Error:  "Unauthorized" message after putting in the password during the next step.  If I leave the user name blank and continue, I'm presented with a box to enter both and get a "Not a WebDAV enabled share" but the folder is showing as mounted.

If I go to the webdav in a browser it works just fine (but of course cannot upload files this way).  Any tips to what I might be doing or not doing?

Thanks.
