Specify Page Size for Custom View

Question asked by kpdamm on Mar 2, 2010
I am looking for a means to constrain how much content can be seen in a Custom View (Freemarker template) applied to a space. My custom view displays a few custom properties created through a custom aspect. It is possible to have many hundreds of documents within a single space, it is undesirable for me to have the ftpl template applied to all these files. I know it is possible to limit how much content is viewed in the 'out of the box' views (details, icon, list) through the web-client-config-custom.xml file:

<config evaluator="string-compare" condition="Views">
       <!– the views available in the client –>
  <views>
       <!– default values for the views available in the client –>
    <view-defaults>
      <browse>
       <!– allowable values: list|details|icons –>
       <view>details</view>
       <page-size>
       <list>10</list>
       <details>25</details>
       <icons>9</icons>
       </page-size>
      </browse>
    </view-defaults>
  </views>
</config>

Is it possible to set the page-size attribute for custom views as well?
