Alfresco Functional Analyst:

Job Description:
Our client is seeking an Alfresco Enterprise Content Management Functional Analyst responsible for analyzing and designing an Alfresco ECM solution.

Specific responsibilities:
Someone concerned with limiting the Alfresco customizations.
Understands how the tool can be used best.
Can suggest how our client can change their process in order to use the tool more effectively.
Work with the business team to review the requirements document to determine the delta between what is delivered in the Alfresco ECM and what will require customization to the ECM.
Analyze the requirements requiring customization in Alfresco.
Determine the effort (design/implementation/testing/etc…) required for the customizations.
Functionally design the required customizations.
Work with developers to ensure a mutual understanding of the approach and design for each customization. Must have expertise with system configuration, customization and a sound knowledge of the functionalities of the Alfresco Document Management and Share modules.
Mentoring of internal functional analyst.
Working in an Agile software development methodology
Understands how to work within the existing Alfresco parameters, existing panels.
Need to have a "how can we use the Alfresco way" to make it work within the existing framework.
Additional Job Info:

Required Skills: 3+ years of Alfresco content management experience in analyzing, designing, configuring, testing and maintaining Alfresco. Experience with one or more databases (ideally postgres, mysql, mssql and oracle). A good understanding of common web application security issues. Experience in integrating Alfresco with other systems (i.e for Single Sign On). Experience with industry-standard software development processes. Experience with agile software development methodologies. A strong understanding of Content Management Systems. Demonstrated knowledge of content management concepts and best practices. BS in Computer Science or equivalent desirable. Excellent communication (listening, persuasiveness, oral, written) skills and consultative personality. Results/goal oriented. Highly proactive; takes initiative. Solid skills to document functional requirements. People (team orientation, judgment, interpersonal relations). Knowledge / Experience of Liferay a bonus.


Top 3 Skills (stack ranked) :1) Alfresco v3.6 AND preferably v4.0 2) Functional Expertise integrating/implementing in an enterprise environment. This would be a 2K+ minimum number of users. 3) Specific expertise with Alfresco's Document Management AND Share Modules

Alfresco Developer profile:  
•Define solution objectives by analyzing user requirements. Map requirements to JEE configuration and customization options. Evaluate multiple options and recommends one based on the customer priorities. Must be able to handle detailed design, implementation, and testing as well be willing to learn new products.
•Skills/Qualifications:
•Minimum one year experience designing and developing solutions leveraging Alfresco – object model, security model, taxonomy, search, user interface, and workflow
•JEE—Java, Spring, JSP/Servlets, .XML, XSLT, XPath, Hibernate, Understanding of web/application servers (Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere)
•Excellent analytical and communication skills
•Solid understanding of application/system architecture and object-oriented design concepts


Required Skills:

•Strong Linux System Administration Skills
•Expert in MySQL or other relational database system
•Required Experience:
•Minimum of 2 years experience with Alfresco Content Management
•Minimum of 3 years application server experience; e.g. IBM Websphere, Tomcat, BEA Weblogic, Apache, or JBoss
•Previous experience with a customizing Alfresco UI
•Direct experience with architecting/developing a solution based on Alfresco
•Experience with Alfresco performance tuning in a clustered environment
• Experience with java performance tuning in a clustered environment
