Javascript, batchjob

Question asked by buurd on May 24, 2010

I have written a small javascript that runs a batchjob when needed. It reads text-files and then add properties to other files as described in the text-file. A normal batch touches about 2000 documents. The problem is that it seems like the server hangs after a while. I have seen a couple of mentions about "transactioncache is full" but it doesn't seem to occur every time.

I guess that the problem is that my script doesn't commit when i save the changes I made to the document and that makes the database more or less unresponsible. The question is how to force a commit in the javascript?

Thanks in advance
