make homepage editable

Question asked by wiulma on Oct 24, 2012
Hello
I'm new in alfresco.
I need to create a simple welcome homepage, and make it editable, but I can't do it.
I can make editable all pages, but not the homepage.

I tried to change the root configuration in this way:
Template Mapping
cmis:document=baseTemplate,ws:indexPage=homepage

and this is the "homepage" template:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<page>
   <id>homepage</id>
   <description />
   <template-instance>one-block</template-instance>
   <authentication>none</authentication>
   <!–components>
      <component>
         <region-id>main1</region-id>
         <url>/content/named</url>
         <properties>
            <asset>home.html</asset>
         </properties>
      </component>
   </components–>
</page>
If I use this configuration, nothing work.
In the homepage, the message
Sorry, but the requested page was not found
appear and I can't visit any page.

Can you help me?
thanks!
