Restricting users

I am attempting to setup passthru authentication using my active directory domain controllers for authentication.  The relevant section of my alfresco-global.properties file is below:

authentication.chain=passthru1:passthru
passthru.authentication.useLocalServer=false
passthru.authentication.domain=
passthru.authentication.servers=domain\\dc.domain.com
passthru.authentication.guestAccess=false
passthru.authentication.defaultAdministratorUserNames=craig
passthru.authentication.sso.enabled=true
So far so good.  With this configuration I can browse the alfresco (CIFS) share and connect to alfresco explorer successfully.  I notice that connecting to alfresco explorer a new user home is created for each user connecting.  This is all good so far.

Now my question:  How do I allow only a finite number of users to connect to the CIFS or alfresco explorer applications??  I do not want all domain users being able to connect.  I have searched the wiki and this forum and have been able to come up with the answer.

Any help much appreciated.

thanks in advance,
Craig
