Upgrade from alfresco community 3.2 to 3.4a

Hey

I am trying to upgrade our installation to 3.4a. Regarding to http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/General_Upgrade_Process I have to install the new version on the same machine. I choose different ports used the embedded mysql instance and so on.
But when the installer starts I get every  freakin time the following error no matter how I choose ports, mysql configuration etc:

The debug file doesn't help at all. It's a huge hash value. So any ideas what I am doing wrong?
We are using debian lenny x86
