Upgrade Single-Tenant 3.2r to Multi-Tenant 3.4a

Question asked by cvillemure on Nov 2, 2010
Hi,

we currently have multiple alfresco installations (3.2r) each of them serving one application without the multi-tenancy.  We would like to use only one alfresco server (3.4a) and multiple tenants to merge all those servers together (one tenant per application).

It seems simple to export/import tenants, but I just can't figure how to export my old alfresco instances and import them into a tenant.

I know that when exporting a tenant, multiple acp files are created (models, spaces, spaces_archive, system, users, versions2) representing all informations of the tenant (database + contentstore + index).  I would like to produce something similar with my 3.2r installations (multi-tenancy not enabled), but the Alfresco admin interface does not seems to offer that option.

Is there a way to achieve what I'm trying to do?  Any hint or directions to take?

Thanks,

Charles
