Preventing access to Alfresco Faces and reverse proxy

Question asked by juha on Dec 28, 2010
Hi,

we have Alfresco 3.4c on Win 2k3 with Apache Tomcat Connector (in IIS, in front of Tomcat/Alfresco).

The aim is to use Alfresco Share only as an Extranet solution; preventing fully access to Alfresco (Faces) interface etc. Instead of the URL being https://extranet.company.com/share, we would need the URL to ALfresco Share being just https://extranet.company.com/.

How could we thus:
a) prevent access to https://extranet.company.com/alfresco (and WebDav https://extranet.company.com/alfresco/webdav etc)
b) change the URL from https://extranet.company.com/share to https://extranet.company.com/

Using IIS6/Windows 2003 Server?

Best,
Juha
