JSON Authentication.

Question asked by zezom on Feb 14, 2011
I'm using a number of web scripts that return json to transfer data to a web page. When I use a web script that displays html and the user has either not logged in yet or their session has expired the html redirects to the html log in page for alfresco. When I am trying to return json data this is not an option because my ajax code does not understand this. Does any one know how to get around this problem?

Is there a way to make the web script return a code of 500 to signal that the user is not logged in or to return some custom text?

Thank you,
Ryan Thorburn.
