CAS SSO in Alfresco

Question asked by jayakrishnan.salim on Feb 14, 2011
Hi,
I am trying to implement CAS SSO in Alfresco. What I did till now is I have a CAS server running locally with self SSL certificate. I configured as per the wiki page which I got http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Central_Authentication_Service_Configuration. Now what is happening is that when I type Alfresco URL, the server is re-directing to CAS server where I give my LDAP user name and password and after authenticating it is re-directing back to Alfresco with the following error message.

edu.yale.its.tp.cas.client.CASAuthenticationException: Unable to validate ProxyTicketValidator [[edu.yale.its.tp.cas.client.ProxyTicketValidator proxyList=[null] [edu.yale.its.tp.cas.client.ServiceTicketValidator casValidateUrl=[https://10.3.0.10:8443/cas-server-webapp-3.4.5/serviceValidate] ticket=[ST-1-RnPg2zjRaOnCvtyTNeKq-cas] service=[http%3A%2F%2F10.3.0.17%3A8080%2Falfresco%2Ffaces%2Fjsp%2Fdashboards%2Fcontainer.jsp] renew=false]]]
caused by:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

What could be the reason behind this? Is that because of self SSL certificate? Any help would be appreciated.
