Tomcat SSL certificates through apache2 proxy

Question asked by consequator on May 12, 2011
I just installed the latest CE version on my fedora 15 server and its working like it should (from what i can see anyways =))

Now I'm trying to have alfresco as a directory on an existing website that is only accessible with SSL
I did this by adding the following to my name based virtual host and running the keytool:
        ProxyRequests On
        ProxyPreserveHost On
        ProxyPass /share http://localhost:8443/share
        ProxyPassReverse /share http://localhost:8443/share
        ProxyPass /alfresco http://localhost:8443/alfresco
        ProxyPassReverse /alfresco http://localhost:8443/alfresco

The problem I am having is that tomcat is using its own certificate while it should be using the same one apache is using.

Is this possible and if so, how do i go about making my alfresco install use the same certificates ?
Or is there some other way to make it stop coming up with certificate warnings ?

Also, i just noticed it keeps redirecting to the server hostname instead of the virtual hostname, any way to change that as well ?
