The Alfresco Enterprise 3.2r release introduces support for the DoD 5015.2 certified Records Management module (http://jitc.fhu.disa.mil/recmgt/alfresco/index.html). This enables Records Management (RM) sites to be created alongside collaboration sites, all managed through the Share user interface.
"%JAVA_HOME%\bin\java" -jar "%ALF_HOME%bin\alfresco-mmt.jar" install "%ALF_HOME%amps" "%CATALINA_HOME%\webapps\alfresco.war" -directory "%2"
"%JAVA_HOME%\bin\java" -jar "%ALF_HOME%bin\alfresco-mmt.jar" list "%CATALINA_HOME%\webapps\alfresco.war"
"%JAVA_HOME%\bin\java" -jar "%ALF_HOME%bin\alfresco-mmt.jar" install "%ALF_HOME%amps-share" "%CATALINA_HOME%\webapps\share.war" -directory "%2"
"%JAVA_HOME%\bin\java" -jar "%ALF_HOME%bin\alfresco-mmt.jar" list "%CATALINA_HOME%\webapps\share.war"
The following procedure applies the Records Management AMP files to an existing Alfresco
Enterprise Edition 3.3 running in a Tomcat application server. If you are using an application
server other than Tomcat, use the Module Management Tool (MMT) to install the AMP files. If
you are using the MMT, you must apply the alfresco-dod5015-share.amp to the share.war
file.
1. Move the alfresco-dod5015.amp file to the amps directory.
2. Move the alfresco-dod5015-share.amp file to the amps-share directory.
3. Stop the Alfresco server.
4. Run the apply_amps command, which is in the root Alfresco directory.
This command applies all the AMP files that are located in the amps and amps-share
directories.
For Linux, edit the CATALINA_HOME variable, as needed.
5. Start the Alfresco server.
6. Start Alfresco Share by browsing to: http://<your-server-name>:8080/share
